Well, today I made a small batch of hot sauce with only habaneros I grew in my garden. It was Habanero, Garlic and Black Pepper sauce and it is mighty tasty. While putting the bottles away I dropped one. In a bid to catch it my hand intercepted the broken bottle on the counter. Usually when you cut yourself with something super sharp, it doesn’t hurt at all at the beginning. This time was different, as the glass was coated in fresh hot sauce. So.. PAIN!!!!
My lovely bride whisked me off to the doc-in-the-box and I got 5 stitches. Fortunately I cut the side of my finger between the knuckles, so no tendons were involved and I didn’t have to worry about the motion of my finger causing the would to reopen.
