I lost the battery cover for my calipers and have been using a wad of tape holding the battery down with another piece of tape holding the wad in place.
So I 3D printed a little disk to fill the extra space in the battery compartment. (sorry about the focus)
Then I 3D printed a cover that slides right into the home of the old one! I even had the right blue filament!
